Leadership is a process in which a person guides others towards a common goal, showing by example, and creating an environment in which team members feel actively involved in the entire process.

With the Leadership Fundamentals Certificate Program you will identify your development goals and empower your leadership strengths at the same time. You will also expand your understanding of leadership, identify your leadership style and make a clear path to implementation for your team or firm. Another important aspect that many other courses do not emphasize is negotiations. UH’s program prepares students to be effective negotiators, regardless of what is being negotiated.
